I purchased this solar cover because we live in the Northeast and I wanted to have my pool warm enough for my husband to enjoy. He does not like a cold pool. We have had our pool for 10 years and he has only gone in a handful of times, so I thought I would try a solar blanket. Well..what a difference this made. I bought one that was a little bigger than my 18 x 30 oval pool and it was fairly easy to cut to size. It fits perfectly. It is easy to put on and take off, although my husband made hooks for it on the side of the pool so it wasn’t laying on the ground or in the grass. We looked it up on youTube and he made them in a couple of hours. My husband has been in the pool almost every day! I am so happy woth how well this works and now we can enjoy the pool together! Even if it only lasts one season, but I think it will last longer, it was worth it. I will definitely buy it again whenever this one is no longer viable. I would definitely recommend this.THE FIRST ONE I BOUGHT WAS GREAT AS YOU CAN SEE BY MY REVIEW, AND IT LASTED 4 SEASONS. I PURCHASED ONE THIS YEAR AND THE QUALITY IS NOT THE SAME. IT IS NOT AS THICK AS THE FIRST ONE AND I DON’T THINK IT WILL LAST AS LONG AS THE FIRST ONE. THEY AHOULD HAVE KEPT THE SAME THICKNESS. IT STILL WORKS GREAT BUT MORE FLIMSY AND HARDER TO HANDLE. I WOULD STILL RECOMMEND BECAUSE IT WORKS BUT WHEN I AM READY TO BUY THE NEXT ONE I WILL MAKE SURE IT IS THICKER.
