This wireless pool thermometer is well worth the money. I had tried a cheaper one and it became water logged multiple times in less than two weeks, it was junk. But this one is very well designed, water tight and works very very well. The manual could be more descriptive and on occasion the the receiver station does lose the connection, but pressing and holding the channel button will scan and usually finds it in a few minutes. Also to change the degree units, press the channel button and reset button at the same time and wait for the F or C to display then let go, click the reset button to make your selection and then the channel button to return to the main display. I highly recommend this product!!The water portion leaked water (in a non-turbulent pool) after an hour. We took it out and applied leak adhesive and then it worked for 10 days. It stopped working completely now - it's not wet inside, the batteries are good, everything is set properly - it's just a poorly made product with NO RETURNS. I'm out $70 - I don't want you to be. Please don't buy this!So far so good! It’s been in my pool for about 3 weeks now and has never lost signal and is dead on accurate.Sent previously opened, used and inoperative junk. Instructions didn't even match item. Then said that it was not returnable because of some toxic materials or something in it. Total fraud. Should be kicked out of Amazon. Can I give zero star rating?POOR instructions.VERY POOR technical support!
