The female coupling of a garden hose attaches to the spigot and the male coupling attaches to the sprinkler, sprayer or whatever. The quick connect of this cleaner is male. So you need a hose with female couplings on both ends. and that's not all. Even if you cut the end off of a hose and put a female coupling on it, a standard coupling isn't deep enough to thread onto the quick connect, And if you get a more heavy duty coupling for commercial use and it does reach the threads, the threads are different so you still can't connect them.This thing is completely useless.
