The Pool Mate Premium-Grade Taupe Winter Pool Cover will protect your pool from harsh winter elements. This is a solid winter pool cover that will not allow water to pass through its material. The Pool Mate Premium-Grade Taupe Winter Pool Covers is constructed of premium-grade polyethylene. All seams are heat sealed for better performance. The taupe topside of this pool cover is coated to prevent UV damage. Includes perimeter binding. Please order by your pool size, as the overlap goes beyond the pool size listed. This cover includes a five-foot overlap. Please order a larger size cover if you have steps (or any other irregularity) protruding from your pool. Water tube loops are placed around the perimeter of the pool cover. Water tubes sold separately. Only water tubes should be used to install this pool cover. No other method of installation is recommended. This cover should be able to comfortably float on the pool water without excessive stress. This cover is not meant to be used as a debris cover during the swimming season. This winter pool cover is intended to be used during the off-season. Includes a twenty year warranty.

I decided to buy this particular cover as other pool covers haven't lasted 5 years. SO...I decided to buy one of their best, their "Winter Premium" cover. I purchased this in September, 2021 and its now July 2, 2022 and it hasn't even lasted one year. Its beginning to separate at the seams and there are small, half inch separations in the actual cover itself that are now letting water from the pool squeeze up through these small separations all over the cover. I am contacting the company and will send them pictures of their "Premium" cover. I will let you know if they even respond, much less replace the existing cover with a new cover back to me.
