This Red Terry Cotton Velour Oversized Beach Towel sold by RobeSale was purchased as a sample to check the quality prior to purchasing 4 additional towels as a gift. The color, thickness, size, and texture (one side terry loop, one side velour) were great, however the towel came with a pulled thread on the terry loop side.This particular towel was packaged in a clear plastic bag that looked like it had been resealed with scotch tape. There was a manufacturer's label sewn on the product stating that it was made by Terry Town in China, but there were no other new product labels attached.After washing and drying this particular towel, there was lots of red lint in the dryer screen, but no more than when I have washed other new thick towels for the first time. This towel would have received a rating of 5 if it had not arrived defective.These towels are exactly what I’ve been looking for. Our 12-year-old belongs to a local swim team and these towels are perfect for swim meets! The towels are very thick, tightly woven, 100% cotton, with very good quality stitching. Our girl is about 5’5” and 95 lbs for reference as to size of towel in the photo. I haven’t washed yet, but believe they will hold up nicely.I bought these towels for bath towels. The size is wonderful. Be ready for tons and tons of lint everywhere for a while. Once you've washed and dried them a bunch the end up being fantastic towels. The color has held up, and the thickness is great. Getting past the lint phase drove me nuts, but well worth it.I bought the towel for part of a Halloween costume as a lifeguard and now I use it all the time. It’s an amazing beach towel and and even better bathroom towel. It’s oversized, fluffy, absorbent, and dries quickly! I’m purchasing again in different colors.I love the towel it’s a beautiful shade of pink, it’s huge almost like a blanket, an one side is so soft It sucks they don’t have it very often, I want another one tThrilled with this towel! Color, thickness, size, and texture are exactly what I was hoping for! This is being embroidered and given as a gift, so I won't be washing it to know how it will fair. But I highly doubt it will pose any problems for this towel.Both my husband and my son are over 6' tall, so these towels worked great for them as beach towels. very vibrant colors!Love this towel. I bought the Hot Pink. It is Big. Bright & Bold. Good quality.
