Product Description
This is a concentrated, non-foaming algaecide product that, when used regularly, will prevent & kill the growth of green, black & yellow algae. At the beginning of the season when opening your pool add 8oz of product for each 10, 000 gallon of water in your pool for an Initial dose. For a maintenance dose, add 2oz every 5 days for the same 10, 000 gallon pool size. If the pool has slight visible algae growth, treat with the "Initial dose." vacuum pool after 24 hours to remove algae debris. If visible algae are still present or re-appear, repeat this treatment as necessary. When pool is free of visible algae, use the "maintenance dose."

Worked great for me. I had algae on the sides of the pool. I tried super-chlorinating and adding lots of shock, but the problem persisted. I added this (at twice the recommended dose - no good reason. Probably just because I'm a guy) and the next day the algae was gone. I've been maintaining the recommended dosage on a weekly basis since then and have no algae problem.We have a whirlpool spa & a waterfall connected to our pool .. Foam for second day now at the end of the pool where the waterfall hits and afraid to turn the spa on for guests because it will foam like crazy .... We previously used another brand that truly did not foam but cant remember what brand it was .This is one algaecide that seems to work reasonably well relative to others I have used over the last 17yrs on a in-ground pool in the woods.Works as described and extremely helpful in maintenance of pool.It worked on our black mold as statedworksThe product does a wonderful job as long as you FOLLOW the directions on the bottle!!!Just as the bigger container we bought.
